Biome

RustEdit Pro

The nodes in the Biome category of the Terrain Graph's Add Node menu. Round sockets carry maps and square sockets carry single values. See Graph editor.

Biome Base

Fill the whole terrain with one biome.

Inputs

InputKindDefaultNotes
BiomeWhole number1The biome that fills the map: 0 Arid, 1 Temperate, 2 Tundra, 3 Arctic, 4 Jungle. Slider from 0 to 4.

Outputs

OutputKind
OutBiome map. The result this node produces.

Biome Classifier

Heat and moisture in, the five Rust biomes out.

Inputs

InputKindDefaultNotes
HeatMap0 is freezing, 1 is hot. Try a noise, or height inverted so peaks are cold.
MoistureMap0 is dry, 1 is wet. Only matters for warm biomes: it splits Arid from Jungle.
SharpnessNumber30How hard the borders between biomes are. Higher gives cleaner edges. Slider from 1 to 200.

Outputs

OutputKind
BiomeBiome map

Biome Layer
