Terrain Spline
RustEdit ProThe Terrain Spline panel makes the splines of a spline entity change the terrain: flatten a road bed, raise a ridge or cut a canyon along a line, or level or paint the ground inside a closed line. It shows in spline edit mode, when the entity's Spline Component is Terrain Spline. The types need RustEdit Pro.
Paths has one row for each spline of the entity, named Spline 0, Spline 1 and so on. Open a row and pick the spline's Type: Road Bed, Ridge / Canyon, Shape Area or Paint Area. A line under the dropdown says what the type does, and the rows of the type follow: Width, Falloff, the height row (Offset, Amount or Level, by type), Opacity, the Profile of a ridge or canyon, and the Splat, Biome and Topology to paint.
The change stays live: move a knot or change a row and the terrain is built again. Without RustEdit Pro the rows can be read but not changed, and the splines do not change the terrain. To go on working, open the scene file, not the exported map: the map's terrain already has the changes, and its terrain splines make them a second time. See Terrain splines.
Can edit several selected objects at once. This panel is only shown in some cases.
