Unused Custom Data

The Unused Custom Data panel shows custom data that the selected prefabs carry, but that no loaded manifest uses. This happens when the manifest is not in your Custom Prefab Fields folder (for example, the scene came from someone with a plugin you do not have), or when the manifest no longer lists the prefab. See Custom data.

The panel shows when at least one selected prefab has such data. It comes after all custom data sections. Its line names the manifests the data belongs to: "Kept for: ... Its manifest is not loaded, or does not list this prefab."

RustEdit never throws this data away on its own. It is kept and saved again with the scene, so you lose nothing when you open a scene without a plugin's manifest. If you install the manifest again, its section comes back with the values.

Click Remove to delete the listed custom data from the selected prefabs. It is one undo step. Remove is disabled for parts of a linked monument, because their data comes from the monument's file.
