Water Check

A Water Check is a monument attribute: Rust's own water check, in your monument. When Rust's map generator tries a spot for the monument, this point must be at or below the water level, or the spot fails. The generator checks it after the Terrain Anchors have set the monument's height. The panel shows when you select a water check in an open monument. Add one from the Procedural folder of the Content Browser.

Use water checks for monuments that stand in the water, such as harbors and piers. Put them on the parts that must be in the water.

In the scene view, a water check is a small diamond inside a ball with a 1 meter radius.
