Monument

The Monument panel holds what you tell about a monument, and which terrain maps it saves. It shows when you select the root of an open monument: the top row in the Hierarchy while you edit a monument. See Create and edit monuments.

Author, Version, Link, Tags and Description are saved in the monument file. When you publish the monument on RustHQ, Version changes to the version you published. See Publish to RustHQ.

The switches under Terrain saved with the monument choose which maps the file keeps. When you save, the monument saves the terrain as you see it, for each map that is on. Every placed copy then puts those maps onto its map, faded by the monument's blend map. A map that is off is not saved, and placed copies leave the map's own terrain alone there. A new monument has every switch off. A monument made with Convert to Monument has the maps you copied.

Changes in this panel are not undo steps. They mark the monument as unsaved.
